Recognising a gender imbalance in its candidate applications to cyber roles, NHS Digital wanted to reach out to a fresh pool of female talent.

We were commissioned by NECS (North of England Commissioning Support) to support NHS Digital in the development of a series of case studies based on several influential female cyber experts. To do this, we conducted in depth interviews and produced impactful case studies to drive applications from female candidates.

Tapping into inspiration from TV and movie portrayals of cyber security, outdated gender stereotypes and lesser known career paths into cyber, we busted some cyber myths through the creation of case studies in a wide range of formats – from listicles to comment pieces and ‘day in the life’ stories.

We also developed a creative plan to amplify reach of the new content, taking into account SEO, social media, target audiences and external news hooks.
